Located in the small village of Shelley, Huddersfield, this beautiful estate has historical links to royalty and nobility. With areas of the home dating back to as early as the 13th century it certainly has some unique features, not to mention a Great hall which makes the perfect space for entertaining. Our clients vision was to convert a dilapidated barn which was attached to a one of the wings of the home, in order to create a complete leisure complex, comprising of a home bar, lounge, playroom, snooker room, golf simulator room and a home spa.
Our clients wish was to create an innovative, timeless, warm social space which was in keeping with the existing home. They also wanted to ensure it had a contemporary twist with all the latest modern conveniences. We worked meticulously with our clients to plan each and every room to the highest specification. From all the bespoke cabinetry, lighting plans, spa design, furniture and colour schemes, we undertook every aspect. This resulted in a stunning home leisure complex where our clients could entertain but also enjoy spending each evening moving effortlessly from one dynamic space to the next.
