Located a stones throw away from Hornsea Beach in the East Riding of Yorkshire, this beautiful period property undertook a small renovation which allowed our clients to open up two rooms and create the open plan family style living they desired. With ample light and multiple bi-folding doors this space could connect with the garden in a matter of seconds.
Our brief was to design and create a multifunctional living space which enabled ease for everyday family living, but would also transform into the perfect party space for entertaining. Our clients ultimate goal was the installation of a large island with an abundance of texture and unique features.; thus creating a focal point which would connect to the symmetrical cabinetry on the back wall to frame the overall shape of the room.
The island utilised bespoke brick walls which were built in-situ on site to act as the unique end panels.
The breakfast bar top was constructed using 40mm solid full stave rustic oak to bring through texture.
A full height quartz splashback to match the worktop behind the range cooker and the extractor all the way up to the top.
