This lovely new build home in Birkenshaw West Yorkshire provided the perfect back drop for this modern, sleek, modular kitchen. With a large open plan kitchen, dining and living we wanted the space to flow through all three areas to provide a social hub of the home.
Our clients wanted to achieve an ultra modern space, yet a kitchen design which still had character within their brief. We worked closely with our clients to design this beautiful space with unique and exciting features. The colour scheme was to be minimal, sleek but with elements of texture.
The island is constructed on multiple levels, 1 to house the hob and preparation areas, the other lower level for in-formal breakfast seating for everyday living.
There are two types of cabinetry in the kitchen. Smooth painted slab doors in Farrow & Ball Off Black No. 57 contrasting against the French polished black stained distressed oak doors on the island.
Behind the sink area is an antique mirror splashback which frames the full space.
